Ordinary-looking, but Powerful Spending Tracker App
The app is so basic, it doesn't even have a fancy name,
It’s not fancy, it doesn’t look really great, but it’s amazing at doing its job.
The app is so no-frills, it doesn’t even have a fancy name. But it has a 4.5 rating on Google Play and deserves every bit of that.
It’s called Spending Tracker.
Here’s the Google Play download link.
I love this app because of how easy it is to use. Here’s what you can do on the app:
You can create categories like Household, Eating Out, Personal Expenses, etc
Add expenses as well as incomes
When adding expenses under categories, mention what the expenses is about
Create budgets so that you don’t overspend
Set reminders to input your expenses or incomes
Back up your data on Dropbox
Set a passcode to open the app
The app will automatically add expenses to categories, so you get a bird’s eye view of where you’re spending how much.
Unlike other expense management apps, this one does not read your messages, which is something I like because it is more private. You have to add expenses yourself, but it’s fairly easy to do, so not much of a hassle to me.
The app is free but has ads. To remove ads, you have to pay only a nominal one-time fee of around ₹200. I paid that even though the ads were not a bother, because the app is so good.
Do check it out and let me if you find it useful.
